Dan Empfield made the quote above last year, and he didn’t have to wait long for confirmation – Chrissie Wellington won Ironman Hawaii on a P2 in 2007, following it in 2008 with wins at Ironman Australia and Germany. At any other bike company, the P2 would be the top-of-the-line bike. At Cervélo, it is number two behind the P3.
